ML System in USA

The next step of ML System S.A. in order to expand into foreign markets – ML System Inc was established in the USA, which aims to develop sales of innovative BiPV and PV solutions, primarily in North America.

It is another step towards strengthening the position on foreign markets, which perfectly fits the turn towards green energy initiated by President Biden. Expansion into foreign markets is one of the Company’s strategic goals included in the ML System Strategy for 2020-2024.

The new regulations introduced concerning, inter alia, environment protection will allow the USA to enter the group of world leaders in clean energy and transformation towards a green economy, which opens up wide opportunities for cooperation in the field of renewable energy sources. New requirements for construction projects in the state of California, signed by Governor Jerry Brown, introduce the principle that every new facility must have photovoltaic installations. The introduction of similar rules is promised by subsequent states. – says Dawid Cycoń, president of ML SYSTEM SA.

On September 8, 2021, the White House published a special report prepared by the US Department of Energy. It found that solar energy could generate up to 45% of U.S. electricity supply by 2050. Currently, it is less than 4%.

The report states that in order to achieve the assumed levels of the share of photovoltaics in the energy demand in the US, solar energy production will have to increase by an average of 30 GW per year by 2025, and then increase to 60 GW per year in 2025-2030. As you can see – it is an extremely promising market – and thus very important for the further development of the Company. – comments Dawid Cycoń, President of ML SYSTEM.
