The Casa BFF project is an excellent example of the effective integration of modern architecture with the functionality of building-integrated photovoltaic systems (BIPV). At ML System, we were responsible for providing support in structural calculations and designing the most efficient photovoltaic solutions aligned with the goals of a net-zero energy building.
We would like to thank all our partners for their collaboration and the opportunity to work on such an outstanding facility, and our client, Pichler Projects, for their professionalism and excellent project coordination. Casa BFF marks our first step into the Italian market—a region where we see tremendous potential for further development of the BIPV sector.

The new building perfectly reflects the current environmental policy of the BFF Banking Group. The headquarters includes a museum space, an auditorium, and a garden. The roof generates green energy, and the entire complex creates a welcoming environment for both employees and local residents.

In line with the concept developed by the OBR architectural studio, the underside of the BIPV modules was printed with a white ceramic pattern, creating a bright glass surface. This solution enhances the visual lightness of the roof, which—resting on a delicate structural frame—appears to float above the building.
