ML System ceramic photovoltaic tile with registered industrial designs
The European Union Intellectual Property Office has registered the new industrial designs developed by ML System for the photovoltaic ceramic roof tile, i.e. the shape that affects the method of fixing, as well as the drainage system, which is also a matching lock.
– Due to its structure, the ceramic photovoltaic tile is geometrically adapted to the classic solutions existing on the market, so that it is possible to use both our tile and roof tiles from popular manufacturers on the roof. The very method of assembly using nails or screws is known in the case of classic ceramic tiles. By special shaping of the fixing point and making holes, it will also be possible in our photovoltaic roof tiles, while maintaining all dimensions and batten spacing. We offer a complete system with an inverter and an electrical protection system – comments Dawid Cycoń, CEO of ML System.

The new solution is an increase in strength and durability compared to traditional ceramic tiles with a new functionality of energy production from renewable sources, while maintaining the size, color and method of installation, identical to traditional roofing. A specially developed, patent-protected production technology allows for precise technical, aesthetic and color matching to the most popular ceramic roof tiles on the market, which in turn gives new possibilities for use on many buildings, including historic ones, and opportunities for cooperation with the largest known brands of ceramic coatings. Attention to detail is the result of many years of R&D work by the ML System team, in cooperation with a leading manufacturer of ceramic roof tiles, research centers and experts in the field of monument conservation.
