ML System, one of the global leaders on the BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) market, thanks to the signed agreement with Kia Polska, will provide photovoltaic solutions to the partner’s car showrooms in Poland. Depending on the structure and area of the dealer station, some of the facilities will have solar modules mounted on the roof and some on the ground. There will also be a modern carport with 5 kW photovoltaic modules, i.e. a roofed carport for two cars, next to each car showroom.
– The cooperation established with Kia confirms the “green turn” that is taking place in Poland. This is an example of the optimal use of renewable energy technologies without the need to invest additional funds in energy infrastructure in the form of transmission networks and power protection. It is worth emphasizing that in the EU, buildings account for 40% of energy consumption, and such investments show how innovative photovoltaic solutions can be used in the era of rising electricity prices. We also cannot forget about the ecological aspects of such investments, which have a direct impact on reducing CO2 production. In addition, we are pleased that one of our flagship solutions, i.e. carport, has been appreciated by such a reputable partner – comments Dawid Cycoń, president of ML System.
– Due to the dynamic increase in sales of electric and plug-in hybrid cars and, consequently, also the growing demand for electricity, Kia Polska decided to install photovoltaic panels in all showrooms. As a result, all dealership test cars will be able to run on “green” electricity. We have established cooperation with ML System because it is a highly specialized technology company with a very strong research and laboratory base. We know well that the advantages of photovoltaics are unquestionable. Solar panels provide many benefits, primarily of an economic and ecological nature. With constant electricity production, the installation does not emit CO2, i.e. it does not interfere with the environment and does not produce substances harmful to humans and animals – emphasizes Leszek Sukiennik, Managing Director of Kia Polska.
